St.Ebba B&B - Rothesay

The stunning sea view was absolutely the highlight! Our comfortable room had plenty of space, and the delicious breakfast was freshly cooked. Only downside was the walk to the town center, which took a bit longer than expected. 🌅

Comfort of the bed was unmatched. Our host, Christine, ensured we had everything for a pleasant stay, from good snacks to a perfectly cooked breakfast. The location was a bit remote for dining options, but the peace made up for it.

The location was stunning, for example, Rothesay Bay was around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. And it was also near the beautiful island of Bute, the shops and sea and island.

The rolltop bath in my room provided a luxurious unwind after a day of exploring. I was thrilled by the lovely sea views across the bay. The breakfast options were delicious and customizable.

The sea views were amazing. The room was spacious and clean, with comfy beds. The breakfasts were a treat. We loved exploring Craigmore and the nearby Ardencraig Gardens with the kids.

While parking was available, it was limited, and the distance to the main attractions was a bit inconvenient at times, requiring a short drive. This stay was awesome with its fantastic hospitality and prime views.

While the views are great, some rooms have smaller windows, especially the ones on the top floor, which might not deliver the full scenic experience. The distance to the town center is about a 15-20 minute walk, which can be a drag for anyone who's not up for it, and there were a few minor maintenance issues reported, like curtains needing repairs or bulbs being out. At times, there might be a bit of noise filtering in from nearby gardens or other guests, which can disrupt your peace if you're trying to relax.
